A planned gift is a contribution that is arranged in the present and disbursed at a future date. The most common way that planned gifts are provided is through a will or trust. Often referred to as “Legacy Gifts” or “Legacy Programs,” planned giving offers a path for donors to develop strong, meaningful relationships with the Saint Pio Foundation and its major supporters.
Some of the most common sources of planned gifts are:
a) A will or trust
b) Stocks, bonds, and other securities
c) Retirement accounts and pension plans
d) Life insurance benefits
e) Charitable remainder trusts
f) Annuities
g) Real estate
h) Retained life estates
