The Initiative

During his life, Saint Pio wrote and responded to hundreds of thousands of letters to his many devotees from all over the world. He also corresponded regularly with his superiors and other close friends.

Some of this correspondence, called Epistolary, has been collected over the years. The Epistolary selected by the Saint Pio Foundation, represents a total of 365 letters (one for each day of the year,) and were all written by Saint Pio himself to his spiritual directors and, most importantly, to his spiritual children.

By making available these letters of Saint Pio, our hope is that those seeking guidance will benefit from this source of inspiration that will lead them to a more holy life, as each week they will get closer to holiness through the teachings and guidance of Saint Pio.
